Rob saw The Haunting of Molly Hartley…

I recently saw this movie and thought it was another “Haunting” movie, but that one was called The Haunting in Connecticut; stupid me, I was waaaay off. This movie starred dreamy Chase Crawford with CW alum AnnaLynne McCord (god, I can’t stand that broad) and some chick named Haley Bennett. It’s one of those movies you wish that would get better, but it went the opposite way, in fact it’s one of those movies that you wish you can unsee.

I’m going to spoil this movie…

Haley plays Molly. She is haunted. She hears things. Her mom is in the crazy house for trying to kill her. Why? Because when she turns 18, the devil comes and takes her. Apparently, when she was born, she was going to die. But this (hot) mysterious woman says she can save Molly if they agree to these terms. You know, the give herself over to satan when she’s 18 term. It’s in the small print. The parents agree because they get to keep their girl. Fast forward 17.95 years into the future, Molly experiences the crazies in the head, but it was only satan trying to get to her. She thinks that God can help her and meets a meek frumpy christian girl, who later tries to kill Molly, because she finds out who she really is, a spawn of satan that can’t get redeemed. (PAUSE) Why are team satan girls all hot and team God frumpy and homely? Curse you Hollywood. And curse you for making this horrible movie. (PLAY) Later there are some killings and crazy cult stuff, but eventually Molly turns to the dark side and accepts the power of her new evilness. She gets the hot guy, graduates valedictorian, and drives away in a fancy car. Credits. Good morals.

Did I mention this was a horrible movie…
